Centennial Capital Campaign

For nearly 100 years, the Junior League of Akron has been woven into the story of this community. Since 1926, our members have rolled up their sleeves, worked side by side with partners, and developed leaders who make a difference. Together, we’ve launched programs that protect children, such as Guardian Ad Litem, and Child Guidance and Family Services, supported families in crisis by pioneering family counseling with Family TIES, and even brought dental care into local schools and created programs like Junior Leadership Akron. These efforts have left a legacy of hope and change that continues to ripple through Akron

Now, as we look toward our Centennial, our mission is as urgent as ever. Today, we are tackling period poverty – ensuring no student misses class and no parent misses work simply because they lack access to basic hygiene supplies. We are also partnering with organizations across Akron to meet new and pressing needs as they arise.

To sustain this important work, we are embarking on a $100,000 Capital Campaign. Your generosity will allow us to:
