Are you passionate about creating meaningful community impact? Whether you’re a prospective member or a current member looking to connect, this is the perfect opportunity to learn more about the Junior League of Akron (JLA).
Founded in 1923, JLA is a women’s volunteer organization dedicated to advancing women’s leadership through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. As part of a global network of over 298 Junior Leagues, we focus on promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving our community. Our programs include Period Product Drives to support women affected by period poverty and Blessings in a Backpack, which provides weekend meals to students in Akron Public Schools.
